Concrete Retarder A5

CONCRETE RETARDER A5 slows down the hydration process of the cement, i.e. the concrete sets more slowly and the processing time of the concrete is considerably extended. The heat of hydration is significantly reduced in the initial phase and distributed over a wider period. This leads to a reduction in thermal cracking, especially when mass concrete is used.

CONCRETE RETARDER A5 is suitable, for example, for the production of large concrete components, or if the fresh concrete has to travel a long distance to the construction site.
